St. Paul hosts Molly on the second Wednesday of the month, generally 6–8 p.m. Molly describes it as a kind of “open rehearsal / trust fall / jam”: she brings in a rotating crew of excellent local musicians, they play old songs, brand-new songs, half-baked songs and whatever else they feel like trying. Guests and other musicians sometimes pop in, too.

The recurring crew has included Erik Koskinen, Paul Bergen, Steve Murray, Noah Levy , Lars Larson and Jeremy Ylvisaker, depending on the month. Molly's site emphasizes that the lineup can change and that part of the fun is not quite knowing what is going to happen.
